Our Home ~ Stone Ewe Croft
We moved to the Highlands in 1998 from Lancashire, during the first few years we operated Ventura Sailing, running R.Y.A Yachting and Powerboat courses, from those early days 'Sealife' was developed, read 'sealifes' story for further intriguing facts!
We are lucky enough to live on a croft overlooking Loch Ewe and the Great Wilderness. The croft is home to rare breed native sheep, Soay and Hebridean. A variety of unusual breeds of hens, including Brahmas, Cochins and Silkies and our horses .After a days work during the season, we try to spend time working and training our horses. Three of the horses are native to the Highlands and Islands, (Eriskay, Highland and Shetland) our fourth is an American Quarter Horse.
They are ridden Western and trained using Natural Horsemanship techniques.
Stone Ewe Croft also offers a superb self catering cottage, we take a great deal of pride in providing a great welcome to our little bit of heaven.
